Most flooring companies treat garage coatings as a sideline. It's the whole of our business, which means our crews install these systems every working day rather than a few times a month. That shows up in the details — edges, thresholds, how a topcoat is laid off in summer heat — more than it shows up in the sales pitch.
How we work
- We grind. Every slab, every time. No acid etching, ever. If a job doesn't have room in it for proper mechanical prep, we'd rather not quote it.
- We test for moisture before we quote. Not after, not never.
- We tell you when the answer is no. Active structural cracking, a slab under 28 days, emission rates beyond what a primer can handle — we'd rather lose the job than install a floor we know will fail.
- We don't take large deposits. A modest amount to schedule, balance on completion.
What we don't do
We're not a general contractor. We don't do foundation work, drainage, epoxy countertops or decorative overlays. If your slab has a movement problem or a water problem, we'll tell you and point you toward someone who handles it — and we'll happily come back once it's sorted.

Where we work
Reno, Sparks, South Reno, Somersett, Spanish Springs, Caughlin Ranch, Damonte Ranch, Verdi and Carson City. We'll travel further for larger commercial work — call and ask.
Why we specialise
General flooring companies carry carpet, tile, vinyl and resin, and resin is the smallest and most technically demanding of those. A crew that installs a coating a few times a month never gets past competent. A crew that does it daily develops the judgement that separates an acceptable floor from a good one — reading how a slab is taking primer, knowing when heat has shortened pot life enough to change batch size, feeling when a broadcast has reached refusal.
None of that is visible in a quote. It shows up ten years later.
What working with us looks like
- You call, we ask questions. Size, slab age, existing coating, what the space is used for.
- We come out. Forty minutes, free, and we set a moisture indicator test.
- We leave samples. Physical boards, overnight, so you see colours in your own light.
- You get a written quote. Line by line — prep method, flake weight, topcoat product name.
- We schedule. Modest deposit, balance on completion.
- We install. One day for most garages.
- We walk it with you. Before we leave, in good light.
Things we will tell you that cost us work
- If your slab is under 28 days old, wait.
- If moisture emission is beyond what a primer handles, fix the source first.
- If you have active structural cracking, get a foundation opinion before spending on a floor.
- If your budget genuinely does not stretch, careful DIY with a rented grinder beats a compromised professional job.
- If your driveway is spalling across a wide area, replacement may be better value than coating.
We would rather have the reputation than the job. In a market where most of our work comes from referral, that is not altruism — it is the only strategy that compounds.
How we price
We quote by scope rather than by square footage, because square footage tells you almost nothing about how long a floor takes. Two garages of identical size can differ by sixty percent in labour — one is a clean sound slab, the other has a failed coating over spalled concrete and thirty years of oil in the surface.
That means we cannot give you a firm number over the phone, and anyone who does is either padding heavily or planning to revise it later. What we can give you on a call is a realistic range and an honest sense of what would push you toward either end of it.
What we carry
General liability and workers' compensation, certificates available on request. For commercial work we can name your entity as additional insured where a lease or insurer requires it — mention it at quote stage rather than the week before, because it takes a few days to arrange.
You should be asking every contractor for this. A crew grinding concrete in your garage without workers' compensation is a liability that lands on your homeowner's policy if someone gets hurt.
Referrals and repeat work
Most of our work arrives through referral, which shapes how we operate more than any marketing decision would. A job that fails in year three does not just cost us a warranty repair — it costs the referrals that would have come from that customer for the next decade. That is the practical reason we will not shortcut preparation, and it is a more reliable guarantee than anything printed on a warranty certificate.
Common questions
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, licensed and carrying general liability and workers' compensation. We'll provide certificates on request, and you should ask any contractor for them before work starts.
For commercial jobs we can name your entity as additional insured if your lease or insurer requires it.
Do you subcontract?
No. The people who quote your floor are the people who install it. That's partly quality control and partly accountability — if something needs fixing, there's nobody to point at.
